This would be most desirable for use when transfering albums to my (small) mp3 player. - Karl Bowden
- Action to automatically set track numbers sequentially. -- VF
- Action to guess tags from file names. -- VF
- Allow 'Rename files according to song information' to move the files into new directories. For example, entering '/home/user/music/Artist - Album/Track - Title' would create an Artist - Album directory under folder /home/user/music and move the files there. The preview in the preferences pane already seems to imply it will do this, but it puts all the information in the file name instead. -- VF
- Allow editing of Performer tag somehow (important for classical music) -- VF
- Auto-Capitalize uncapitalized tags (such as the title) -- VF
- Replaygain (Run mp3gain on files) -- VF
- The ability to autofill track information when the track names are "Track 1, Track 2, Track 3" from having ripped CDs offline, such as the case may be with dialup, or a wireless connection. -- Dennis Fisher (GreySim)
- Rhythmbox plugin maybe? so we can edit an album directly from the Rhythmbox interface. (Mudfly)
- Having a treeview on the left hand side that you can hide, would make it easier to traverse your music folder so you dont have to do 'album -> import' for everything. Maybe even have the current editing payne moved to the left side and split so the tree view is under the editing dialog. (Mudfly)
- Allow for "valid" filename option so Windows users don't see meaningless filenames. (Jaebird)
